“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t — you’re right.” — Henry Ford (Founder of Ford Motor Company) —
Today makes the anniversary of the 15 millionth — and final — Model T Ford rolling out of the the company’s famously efficient production line in 1927. The Model T was wildly popular, completely altering American life forever as the demand for drivable roads increased. Founder of Ford Motor Company Henry Ford and his son Edsel drove the classic vehicle out of the factory, saying goodbye to the “Tin Lizzie” — the car that put his company on the map. With the Model T discontinued, Henry Ford signaled a transition for his company, releasing the successful Model A later that year, and more than 90 years later Ford’s legacy lives on today as one of world’s top five automobile brands.
