Director and Multimedia Designer

Jared is an Obie award-winning multimedia artist, working in theaters all over the country. He is the Producing Artistic Director of Andy's Summer Playhouse, an experimental children's theater focusing on new work in collaboration with national and international artists. He also is faculty at The University of MAryland, where he created the curriculum for the MFA Design track in Projection and Multimedia Design.

Giving Life to Virtual Theatre - Can liveness exist online? With a background in theatre, performance, and design, Jared has been a multimedia director and designer for many years now. Currently, his multimedia designs are being used to bridge the gap between Zoom performances and design in order to create a seamless, immersive experience. Hear about his background and latest experiences in creating live theatrical performances in the digital realm.
