Dr. Savas Ceylan is a researcher at the Institute of Geophysics of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zürich, Switzerland. He is part of the Marsquake Service - the InSight ground team that detects marsquakes and curates the planet's seismicity catalog.

Seismically Active Mars - The SEIS seismometer package from NASA's Mars InSight lander has collected its first continuous Martian year of data, revealing some surprises among the more than 500 marsquakes detected so far. Savas Ceylan of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zürich, Switzerland, discusses some of the findings from The Marsquake Service, the part of the InSight ground team that detects marsquakes.
