Are you a supercar fanatic who doesn’t actually own one?

Join the club. Since the price of a bespoke, high-performance vehicle is out of the question for most of us, we have to find other ways of getting our supercar fix. Luckily, there are plenty of locations throughout the U.S. where these cars are not only on display, but also available for you to experience.

1. LA Auto Show

Let’s start with the obvious. The best place to spot a supercar is often at a car show, and Los Angeles is about to be hit with one of the biggest of the year. The LA Auto Show takes place November 19-28 at the Los Angeles convention center, and this year’s participating automakers include everyone from Ford to Fisker. A number of manufacturers will even be offering test drives on site, although you can expect the really good stuff to stay on the showroom floor.

2. Monterey Car Week

Based in southern California but can’t make the big auto show next week? You’ll probably have to wait until next summer, when the legendary Monterey Car Week rolls around again. The most famous aspect of this yearly celebration is certainly the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, where pre-war luxury cars usually reign supreme, but don’t forget about offshoot events like Legends of the Autobahn, featuring powerful makes from a variety of eras.

3. Miami Supercar Rooms

Luckily, there are plenty of supercars waiting for you outside of California as well. In Florida, Miami Supercar Rooms bills itself as the “World’s First Automotive Dining Experience,” meaning you can book a private dinner amongst an epic collection of supercars owned and curated by the eclectic former fashion model Elo. His organization also hosts a number of car shows and other events each year, which often focus on supercars as works of automotive art.

4. Shelby American, Inc.

We hate to play favorites, but if you’re going to go all-in on any one supercar brand, Shelby is the one to visit. Located in Las Vegas, the Shelby Heritage Center has all the Cobras and GT40s your heart desires, plus an option to tour the Shelby American modification shop to see how the sauce is made.

5. Exotics Racings Las Vegas

While you’re in Vegas, you might as well get a few laps in by visiting Exotics Racing, a supercar driving experience that puts you behind the wheel of the supercar of your choice on a real racetrack. As long as you complete a day of training and pay a hefty price tag, you could find yourself racing Italian stallions like the Lamborghini Huracan and Ferrari 488 GTB, or legacy options like the Corvette C8 and Porsche 911. And if you want all the thrills but don’t have the skills, never fear – a ride-along option is offered as well.
