Date and Participants: Brackets from eight to 59-years-old

The Rocky Mountain pickleball tournament is taking place this week from Wednesday, July 26 through Sunday, July 30, attracting participants from across the nation and world. Registered participants will include 839 players of all skill levels, from novices to seasoned pros, who will converge on Clement Park Pickleball Complex in Littleton, Colorado like white-on-rice, showcasing their pickleball prowess and competing for esteemed titles. With multiple divisions catering to different skill levels and age groups, everyone can find their place on the courts. Players as young as eight-years-old will be competing alongside adults in scheduled matches.

2023 Rocky Mountain Championship Events and Format

As one of the prestigious USA Pickleball (USAPA) sanctioned tournaments, the 2023 Rocky Mountain tournament follows official rules and regulations, guaranteeing fair play and high-octane matches, stunning victories, and a unique opportunity for players to test their skills against some of the best in the country.

The 2023 Rocky Mountain Championships features a range of events designed to test players' abilities and offer diverse opportunities for participation. From men's and women's singles and doubles matches to mixed doubles, every aspect of pickleball will be represented. The format will be a double-elimination style, meaning if a team loses a match, they still have a chance at winning gold by advancing through the consolation bracket. This will ensure that every player gets ample chances to show their mettle and rebound from setbacks.

The matches will consist of a best-of-3 game format with each game played to 11 points. Games must be won by 2 points.

In the consolation bracket, though, each match will consist of only one game to 15 points, but will maintain the win-by-2 rule.
