FSU Collegiate Pickleball Club Partners With BlooBallz Merch

The Florida State Pickleball Club teams up with Blooballz for an amazing merch drop. Students are jumping for joy because who wouldn't like to rep blooballz! The students use these fun pickleballs at every practice as they exhibit fast speed leading to more competition among the members at practice.

Blooballz is a company that just started in 2023. They have three items you can choose from on their website. The company contributes fun apparel and accessories for the Florida State University members to represent! This includes "The Ball Sack," which is an original T-shirt and a 40-count set of pickleballs. The company has an Instagram account, getblooballz, which has approximately 222 followers. As one can see the company is just starting, and this allows for growth. Not only in their business but for the Florida State University (FSU) Pickleball Club, too. As the company is trying to expand and make a name for itself, the employers wanted to partner with the FSU Pickleball Club.

The company contacted the FSU Pickleball Club president, Fina McCreary, at the beginning of this spring semester. This was one of the first companies that wanted to sponsor the FSU Pickleball Club. They messaged the president multiple times through Instagram to see if they could partner with this club. After several messages, McCreary agreed to partner with Blooballz and gave her phone number to the owner, Karen. From there many conversations were exchanged and the company offered exclusive merch to the pickleball team. 

The company also works with other clubs throughout Florida. They offer deals to several residents in the Villages, which is a well-known area for pickleball. The company wanted to work with those in the Villages to test out aerodynamics with their balls. McCreary has continued to stay in touch with the company allowing them to know about the pickleball club's upcoming events. Therefore, the company can contribute merch at the events along with sponsoring the Florida State Pickleball Club.

McCreary explained to the company that the pickleball club would like to discover a new facility for their members. McCreary has had her eyes on such a beautiful indoor pickleball facility, the Pickleball Pad. This gave the company a great idea to invest in new equipment or indoor balls for next semester to benefit the FSU athlete's success. 

Furthermore, the Florida State Pickleball team is looking forward to working with their new sponsorship as they are offering specialized merch designed specifically for student-athletes. The company included the idea of FSU X Blooballz to build their company’s reputation along with the FSU Pickleball clubs. 

Down the road, there could be potential equipment and gear-paddles, balls, nets, and apparel- These items would be beneficial to students as some may not have their own gear. Additionally, as the company is sponsoring, they would provide discounted rates and free merchandise directed at the FSU club. This ensures that the FSU Pickleball Club has access to high-quality equipment without incurring significant costs, which enables players to perform at their best and attracts more members to join the club.

As one can see from the Blooballz website, the merchandise appeals to the eye. This can also encourage other students of FSU to join the club. Partnering with Blooballz allows the company and Florida State to promote the club through their marketing channels. Later, increasing visibility and attracting more attention to the sport of pickleball at the collegiate level. 

This exposure can lead to more participation in the club and new supporters. The FSU Pickleball club is looking forward to the Blooballz funding and donations to expand the club like never before.
