It’s raining today in normally sunny LA where this company town is mourning the passing of American great Larry King. We had the honor of working with Larry, who lived up to his surname in every sense of the word. Deeply committed to LA, even more so to the LA Dodgers, to his other passion – broadcasting, and to his family and friends, Larry was a pro of the highest order. When the founder of theTUNDRA took Larry and his best friend Herb Cohen to lunch a couple years ago in LA and her credit card was rejected (as a fraud precaution), which the waiter made embarrassingly clear, Larry and Herb continued their conversation as if they didn’t hear a thing. Now that’s a man, and his best friend.
