Happy Groundhog Day from theTUNDRA! Punxsutawney Phil has been the given name to several groundhogs in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania during their annual Groundhog Day festivities. On February 2 each year, the small town holds a civic festival beginning well before the winter sunrise. When Phil emerges from his temporary home, if he sees his shadow and returns to his hole, he has predicted six more weeks of winter-like weather. If Phil does not see his shadow, he has predicted an early spring. The event formally began in 1887, although its roots go back even farther. Phil has been "right" 14 times and "wrong" 18 times since 1988. Will Phil be right this year?
