As some state finally begin reopening after more than two months of public shutdown, they could not have chosen a more perfect time — today is National Road Trip Day, serving as the official kickoff of the summer season for traveling Enthusiasts. According to travel research firm MMGY, 51% of Americans took at least one road trip in the last year, a number that has been gradually increasing year-to-year for the last decade. Even though our current circumstances might be slowing down your travel plans, that doesn’t mean you can’t get creative — whether it’s a road trip across the country, or just across town! How are you planning your 2021 road trip? Are we there yet?
