Today, the TUNDRA salutes Meg Whitman, an American business executive that partnered with film producer Jeffrey Katzenberg to launch Quibi, a new digital streaming service that debuted last week. After working for companies like DreamWorks, Procter & Gamble, and Hasbro, Whitman joined the growing e-commerce business eBay in 1998, overseeing its massive expansion into a multi-billion dollar internet retailer through the following decade. Whitman’s latest venture, the short-form mobile video platform Quibi, has more than 175 different shows and has been downloaded nearly two million times since its launch on April 6.
